If it worked for a piece of laboratory equipment, it will surely work for a chamber filled with gaseous hydrocarbons

ok...tried it.With painful results.I was spray painting me new gun when i absent-mindedly clicked the ignitor.pretty cool, flames shot out like a jet, burned my knuckles. ow.

Medic!!

That happens to nearly everyone at one point or another. I nearly did the same thing, but luckily the crappy grill ignitor did not light the mixture. No such "problems" for you with your ignitor.

Lucky you..Well, least now we know that this is reliable enough to light such low concentrations of flamable vapour..
