I'm sorry this is an off topic but I need the answer desperatly. Where do you buy your PVC or ABS tubes? I mean in which kind of stores. I know the situation is different where I live but is it like something like wal mart or a hardware store or something else?

If you could find it at WalMart, I'd be going there more often but they don't sell it. Hardware stores like Home Depot, Lowes, Menards..... have it.

is there some table that tells what pressure the different mixes make? i was just wonderin cause i figured it would be cool to do like a 6x mix in a really thick steel hybrid.

Guessing that the peak combustion pressure for a 1x at stoichiometric level would be about 112, the following would be like so:

1x=112
2x=224
3x=336
4x=448
5x=560
6x=672

This is assuming that the Air:Fuel ratio is perfect. The reason we cant acheive these pressures consistently is that we can never get the F:A ratio perfect, so we get lower pressure.

The pressure created is proportional to the number of atmospheric mixes.

Isn't gun wich uses oxigen and disel more powerful and easyer to make and safer then a hibrid?Or just write amount of nitrogliserin?Or acetone peroxide.

Do you even have a brain in your skull? Nitroglycerine is very dangerous to mess with, and is extremely VOLATILE!! Diesel cannot be measured properly, and adding oxygen is dangerous. Acetone Peroxide shouldn't be messed with either, also because its hard to measure out.

Next time, please THINK before you speak, or don't speak at all.

Im with you drac nitro is completely outta the question. That stuff is nasty. Pure oxygen in a small confined space+nitro=death .

just got to understand, that plastic and tnt filler dont mix... also we cant talk about high explosives in here.

disel is harder to use than propane, fuel mixed with pure O2 can and have been done, but not with pvc...

Hope this doesn't break the rules on high explosives, but i dont think Rambo understands the power of the stuff. In its pure form, nitro is shock-sensitive (i.e., physical shock can cause it to explode) and degrades over time to even more unstable forms. This makes it highly dangerous to transport or use. Just saying . The stuff is actually really easy to make from stuf you can get fairy easily. Youll probrably die making it or blow your arms or fingers off and only someone mentally ill would make this stuff. I wouldnt go any where near that field of things especially near spudguns. Leave nitro to the professionals.

Well I went to far writing about AP and NG.But thees gun cam be more tuniged.Adding small amount of H2O2 60% in the hcamber whould probebly encrease the fire power..I made a blow toch-flame thrower with benzin h2o2 60% KMnO4 and a glass bottle.I was with safety glases and was alwey form it.

oh my god are you stupid? nitroglycerin if you try that i gauruentuee that you will die, havent you read any of the threads where someone askes if they can use acetelene in a cannon and spudshot says: DON'T DO IT OR YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF, this is the same thing, only 5x worse, probably as bad as doing a 5x mix with an oxygen acetelene hybrid, like using dynamite in a combustion. thats what nitroglycerine is, its is as powerful as dynamite and if you use it it will die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dynamite IS nitroglycerine it's just mixed with diatomaceous earth. And if you have a REALLY strong chamber (think 1/2'' thick steel pipe and endcap, all welded solid), you could use what ever you want for a propellant (I remember some used guncotton).
HOWEVER, this is TOTAL OVERKILL when it comes to spud launchers, as I don't see why anyone would go for speeds in excess of Mach 1 (1st spud in space, maybe?!). Such devices are more than likely not legal, and that's why we stick to the "traditional" pneumatic, combustion or hybrid designs.

Not to be TOTALLY off-topic: I'm building a mini hybrid myself. Just needs ignition. BBQ igniters and stun guns are quite hard to come by in Romania.

Make your own stungun, they are not too hard to build. Send me a message if you need some plans .

the guncotton was the powerlabs golfball cannon i see your point on how if he had a REALLY thick steel gun then maybe he could use nitro but wats the point, and if it did fail, goodbye life


PS. id bet someone from uk or us would ship you a dis assembeled stungun to get it past customs and then you would just have to put it in a case good luck
