My friend at school told me today that he saw a spud cannon sniper thing that shot a CO2 cartrige wrapped in duct-tape on "attack of the show" on G4. I imediately realized I had seen someone here that had a video of shooting a CO2 cartrige and I looked it up on youtube. Did you send in the video or put in a request, or did they just randomly pick it? Very cool...

no i had no idea, the youtube vid got 20,000 views literally overnight, and i was like wtf? must be soemething wrong with the view counter app. then i got a bunch of comments saying "wow man i just saw this on attack of the show its sweet" or something similar. didnt submit it didnt tell anyone to submit it it just showed up on there, must have been becuase it got a ton of press from that launch it contest. if you type 25mm bolt action (or lots of other combos 25mm sniper rifle, 25mm pneumatic, ect) into google the hole first page is this cannon! it was insanely popular in that contest, except i entered like three days before the contest ended and i didnt get enough votes (came in like third or something)

Nice, way to hold up the spudgun banner
Here's a suggestion for improving your ammunition:
12 gram CO2 slug

Yeah you did really well, the guy who came first for votes I think cheated by making mulitple accounts, on several ocassions near the end I got my friends to make accounts and vote for me, several times I did this, overnight he would take the lead, but only by one, it kept happening, everytime I got friends to vote for me, overnight somehow he got one a head.
I came 2nd, not good enough for me

singularity, i have a question about the 1" T.
Did you block the end off with a 3/4 cap? did you use anything else to seal it? like neoprene or something. my 3/4 cap is a little to small for the T, it wobbles around a bit would that be ok?
thanks.

yea the only thing i used to block the tee was a 3/4 cap. i have noticed that the outer diameter varies greatly by supplier, i have one that was way too big, but never on that was two small. the 3/4 cap i used was actually a very tight fit

i suppose as long as you put a lot of glue on the cap then it will be fine, just make sure its making as much contact as possible
