Hey nice looking cannon looks a bit simliare to mine, but better yeah schmanman has reposted that cannon on here i have seen it, but i dont remember if the barrel was sleeved but that exact gun on that link looks like another one on here, im fairly sure its the same though 8) What did you make you ammo holder out of?? Looks nice overal, like the spraypaint makes it look more real .

The ammo holder is just an aluminum "L" shaped corner molding strip and the tubes themselves for the ammo are just pieces of pvc i cut and then put the whole thing together with JB Weld. Then used good ol' zip ties to fix it to the gun.

by the way, does anyone know of a way to seperate a glued pvc fitting from the pipe without having to do any damage to anything? .... i want to remove the Shcrader valve and put a quick disconnect in its place but i will need to remove that whole post to do so.

I can't see how the schrader is attached.

The post that it is in looks to be all one size. Did you sleeve the post in a coupler or something?

If the schrader you used is a threaded style you should be able to back it out, use some brass fittings to get from 1/8" to 1/4" and then thread in a quick connect.

If it is a glue in style, you will have to cut. That could get complicated and I would like to see a more detailed pic before I go into that.

its a T fitting connected to a female/female coupler then ended with a standard cap. i know its wierd and all but it just kinda worked out that way. the thing im worried about isnt the cutting, its being able to reassemble it with an air tight seal. i would really hate to have to remake the entire gun just to go from a Schader valve to a quick disconnect.

Most hardware stores sell threaded schraders. The local ones where I live have them in 1/8"npt, which is also the same size as most quick connects.

The reason I say that is because (1) converting it to take a threaded schrader means it will take any other threads that are 1/8"npt, including quick connects and most paintball CO2 hookups, (2) a threaded schrader will probably hold pressure better than the other, and (3) in my opinion, they look cooler.

Now, as far as reassembling it, the only option I can think of (since there is no pipe for another fitting to hold on to in this little section) would be to cut it, fill in the hole with some sort of epoxy, then find somewhere else to place the quick connect. Or you could just postpone the quick connect to use on the other one you are going to make.

Also worth mentioning, this being your first, I'm sure the budget was more than what you planned on spending (you know, learning stuff on the way). What this means is that the next one is going to be cheaper and better at the same time.

On to the cannon. It is very nice, especially for a first. It looks as if you did take your time and research what you wanted. I am not sure as to what look you was going for but, whatever it was, it seems to have worked.

Yeah that is a sweet looking cannon, although i wished i thought of a way to make my sheel holdin system detachable, and i wished i made my stock detachable. Its funny though, i was going to build my un very similare to this one, but then i came up with a few different designs and the other one got lost.
