its funny, i used to think the same think when i was 15

now that there is a whole assload of snow and ice on the ground i hate driving, warming up the car sucks, gas prices suck, insurance rates suck (especially with my driving record)

I disagree about the snow/ice driving. That is my favorite time to drive...also the local body shop's favorite time for me to drive as well...I keep them in business!

I hear you, dude. Snow and ice driving is the only time I can practice my driftin', seein's that my four cylinder sucks on dry pavement.
I have totaled out 5 cars now, though. It's so much fun I hope I never learn my lesson.

Gee im old! I got my license like 2 years ago. Well I have my own 02 Ford F-150 (That I Make Payments On!) and I never have to worry about driving on ice because where I live we haven't even had a good snow in like 4 years and it never gets below like 40 degrees in the winter...

update! I just got a 1973 ford f-600 for free! I was camping in the mountains and walking out I passed the maintenance yard and started talking to the guy in charge there when I said id kill to have a truck like the one in back he said I could have it. it has a 330 ford big block in it(thats right it runs off gasoline)Im getting it towed next weekend Ill have pics then.

My dream car is a duce(sp?) and a half. I want to convert it into a hydrogen system to save money.

F-600 eh? If I remeber right Fords go in increments of 100 starting at 150. I think I saw a E-650 once, not sure though.

I want to get a bullet bike and convert it to alchol because I heard you can make it just like moonshine. And he was saying it only requires that you change carb, fuel lines, and sparkplugs. So I might do that, but a hydrogen system is a frickin' ton of money if my memory doesnt fail me. Plus my grandmas jazzy has better pick up then one of those engines...

I now drive a 1988 chevy G20 1/2 ton van, before that i drove a 1979 chevy G20 1/2 ton van for 10 years. Before that i drove a borrowed escort wagon, 1982 if i remember correctly, before that i had a 1979 ford courier pick up short bed with a mustang engine in it ! NASTY LITTLE TRUCK ! ! Before that i drove a 1977 monte carlo, (used in the indynapplos 500, i had 2 of them), 1 was a coupe bucket seats consol shift, the other was a standerd body style, i got a speeding ticket on I95 south bound for doing 155 MPH ! Had to go see judge kerby for that one, he gave me a break and let me keep driveing, but i had to go to a half day class. Then there was my 1st and favorite car, 1970 Chevell, bucket seats, consol shift, 2 speed power glide, (with a firm shift), 350 cid, holly 4 barrel, (spread bore), Elderblock Torker II intake manifold, Crane Fireball II camshaft, limited slip possitraction rear. Thats my basic driveing history.

May sound dumb - but being from the UK I have alway's wondered what a Duce and a half is?

The system can cost about $10,000 dollers but is is better that spending 100 of 1,000 of dollers in your life time and geting the hydrogen costs nothing because it uses soler power. Ethenol is also very good and less expencive but the police might not like people making moonshine but if convinced the police might let you but keep a close eye on you.

dude mount a massive air cannon on the back of that thing.. i think they have an onboard aircompressor for charging the brakes thats my dream truck

im kinda working on a trailer to tow behind my '96 blazer for a massive air cannon, turret style the trailer is in rough shape so it will be a summer project.

That isn't a bad idea maby I'll try it when I get the truck but I don't want to harm the truck much because it would be a antique.

ive been driving for almost 5 years now (if you count when i got my learner's permit at 15), first, i had a '97 corolla that my parents bought and let me use, then about a year ago, they handed that to my brother and i bought a '95 ford taurus SHO with a 3.8 litre v-6 and truely dismal gas mileage (15-17). due to chronic mechanical failure and that terrible gas mileage, i think i might be buying a new car after working all summer to save up the cash.
