Hey, well if its a brand new rubber one, and has the big buldgy bit, then no you dont need to glue it, simply drill the right size hole, use your muscles and pull it in, and it should pop into place. But if your using a rubberone of a bike tire then yes make it a tight fit and then i'd suggest use some arildite, not PVC glue.

Yeah pretty much what spudgunnerwryyyyy said, but i'd suggest if your take it to high pressures use super strength araildite or epoxy.

Nah you could take an epoxied in shrader valve way higher. jsr has done it safely up to 300psi

How can you tell that it was safe? In my opinion, if you don't hydrostatically test a pressure vessel to at least twice its working pressure, you can't say if it's safe or not.

i got mine for free too from tires plus. i asked if he had any valve stems and he braught out a few and i asked how much for the threaded one and he said just take it. I dont think they technically sell them so there isnt a set price.

Yeah although there isnt a set price they might just say ooh $3 if they are stinge bags, Jks. But yeah they might. It suckes though because i build of a fair pneumatics i cant keep going to the same tire shop and asking for more, might raise a few alarms.
