I admit I'm looking forwards to building my automatic combustion BBMG plans, but that's because it's going to be pretty awesome (not to mention a world first if I'm not mistaken).
I've never built an automatic of any sort, or even a metered combustion, so it's going to be a new challenge. In fact, I've never even owned an airsoft gun before (although I wouldn't turn down the opportunity - damned VCR bill).
And I'm pretty pleased with how damn sneaky I've been with the plans.

I have one more question... Has anyone tried using a hydraulic QEV with air ?? Or at least do you think it would work ?? There are some hydraulic QEVs that are pressure rated for up to 630 Bar

(and before you ask - I don't want to build a spudgun using 630 bar pressure - well at least not now)

Technically, all sprinkler valves are "hydraulic" valves and work brilliantly with air, so you should be fine.
Re that fridge compressor, I took one from an old fridge and it was shit, like a baby farting. Maybe that's why they thre the fridge away?

I will try to write how to remove them and use them as compressors and put that in how-to section (but i am not promissing anything)...
One more thing.. you must remove the part that starts the compressor when temperature rises in refrigator - it is a small box with cables stiking out of it (sorry but expressing technical details in foreign language is more difficult than I thought it can be

)
Here is a link to Polish site where u can see how to remove a compressor from a fridge/refrigator
http://www.modelarz.one.pl/index.php?porady=kompresor (yes, it is in polish

but you can use pics to get the idea how to do it)
WARNING These compressors usually don't have any pressure switches - they will pump as long as they are connected to the power - don't forget to add a pop-of valve or something similar. I've heard that it can pump to 35 bar (490 psi) and possibly even more
JSR - have you tried using your compressor to pump anything? or at least attaching a pressure gauge to it ? - these things have small flow but can give you high pressure - ideal for small sized chamber/high pressure guns - in fact the sound they make can be compared to
baby farting
so it is possible that your compresor is ok

I think so, is it meant to rattle? Something's clearly loose in mine

When i try shaking mine it rattles too... try to attach air hose to it and see wheather it can pump to some pressure.
