Well I really like how easy it is to make them- I want people to say damn when Im finished. Imagine something like that but just with bigger pvc pieces. More like a Compact Bazooka or something.

Piston valves in tees are simple too. They work off the same principal and require just a little bit more work to get working.

Ive considered both options, I think these are much "cleaner" though.

Yep, your math is bad.
area of a 2" diamter circle is 3-ish square inches not 10-ish.
area of a 3" diamter circle is 7-ish square inches not 22-ish.
Area = Pi*r<sup>2</sup>, not Pi*d<sup>2</sup>
But, if you want the
ratio of the two, then it doesn't matter if you use the radius or the diameter. So your conclusion was correct but you got there the wrong way.

Around 12% more air for the 3" chamber.
