Myth busted.
If you were "the all knowing god", you would be certain, not just "pretty sure" you were. All knowing and not being certain are mutually exclusive.

Lighting a match and spraying sunscreen at it is much different than getting the sunscreen to ignite inside a closed chamber with a spark. This of course depends on what component in the sunscreen you are igniting.
If it's propelled by propane or isobutane then it should work.
