ok i thought that the seam would open on peak but i have looked closely at the sealed hybrid "hybrid test" or something and that has a seam and survived a closed 11x! (i think there are some black fittings on it also)

but if someone can answer if black pipe is weaker or stronger than galvanized i will be happy
