Crank handle air compressor

You could get a small engine from a weed wacker or a 2hp one and mount a sprocket or pulley on the compressor and then one on the engine with a chain/belt. Might work.

Yeah that will work. It's hard as hell finding a small used comressor block, thats the only thing thats gonna stop me from making it..

even a bike has high rpm to run a stirup pump, and it has suports on both sides of the axle,
you know cranking or pumping is pretty much the same, a stirup pump will better utilizes your labor the only theoretical the best might be a reverse stirrup pump put in a rowing system

as for motors your guys are thinking to high in rpm the most usable will be a high torque low rpm like a drill or high torque motor and gearbox, however it would be nice to find something that I could use a lawn mower engine for
