Haha I saw that in the banned section, the topic about a guy not capitalizing 'I'

I love reading that section, pity NBK(I think it's NBK), there version of DR, passed away not too long ago.

I got accepted, posted my SGA cannon, and haven't posted since.

I suck at chem, so I can't really fit in too well.

NBK2000 was the driving force behind no mercy banning. Mega wrote up a nice post all about how the E+W forums came to be. They won't be quit as strict now, but grammer will always be a must due to the nature of the content. I've already be told about my spelling and using the rite words when spell checking. There's been way more then 1 member banned for the "I" violation. I'm about ready to take up a indifference about the abbreviations of title's because it conderdictes the entire grammer gripping. A misabbreviation can be just as deadly as a misspelling over there. Know what i mean???

I don't get it, they seem to have very strict laws regarding grammar, but I saw several posts which were just downright racist bullshit. I like it here better.

They hate newbies that get anything wrong/long winded or even slightly off topic. The posters getting flamed on committed one or more of the listed offense's. Post something good/accurate and to the point, you get rewarded with kind words. Their reputation system means everything to them! I don't suggest anybody under 18 tyring to join up over there. Just due to lacking of life's experiences.

Which means, probably never.

The difference is, if you screw up with a potato gun, even a hybrid, you have a fairly decent chance of survival. If you screw up with a BP cannon*, well, you probably won't even have time to know what happened.


*Which are legal in most of the US, I believe.

If kids want to learn about explosives, they can do it somewhere else. SF will not be held responsible when some emotionally unstable pre-teen decides to beat Cho's high score with the info they learned on here.

No, I didn't say anything like that what so ever.

But the poster wasn't being flamed, he was just posting racist comments and then being supported by other racist comments.

I have no problem with people expressing their views, but referring to the holocaust as a hoax doesn't fall in my book of "good/accurate ".

As a fellow member of roguesci.org, you dam well know whats going to happen the first post in for most Spudfiles members. Besides, most Spudfiles members won't even be accepted into the forums there anyway, the owner screens all applications and age is a major player there. They are very strict, you get banned for not capitalizing the letter "I" when refering to one's self.

Spudguns belong here at Spudfiles, and pyrotecnics belong at Explosives and Weapons Forums, a weapon of mass information.

Edit: I voted No, do not bring this type of disscusion here to Spudfiles.

I signed up on Roguesci. Sounds like my kind of community. Crowley, any idea how they'd react to the SCTBDC? Or should I wait to post something more impressive?

They reacted to SGA okay, made a few jokes and what not. Didn't stick around for long, they're more serious into real firearms.

Yeah it should have a good chance though, they'll understand everything right off the bat, should be interesting.

Only thing is it takes like 24hours to get access to the whole forum, then like another 24hours before you can post or something.

And they recommend not making a topic on your first post, I think I did, and got away with it because I was contributing.

Who was that directed at? Me, because if it was, you missed my point entirely. I'm not lazy either, anything but. I told no one how to behave either. I merely stated the facts. Unless your a member over there, you wouldn't know anyway. Whats up with this rant???
