Looks like something an inmate at an insane asylum would make. Nice work!

haha Fnord....
Nice cannon! Really
At least it's original?
What's with ghetto combustions these days? First cardboard, now wood, what next?
I'm going to make one with a chamber made from jello
I was thinking about sleeving my new 3/4" combustion in wood, and then lathing the outside so it is smooth... You'll just have to wait and see it

Now all you need is propane injection and you got yourself a splinter bomb

i actually thought of something similiar a while ago. except my idea involved making pipe and reducers from wood. sadly my lathe lacks the ability to so do.

WHY? why not just do it with less pieces and use pvc?

I think you should bust out a wood lathe and make the whole chamber/barrel out of one piece except for the trapdoor/cleanout cap deal. or you could make a threaded cap with the lathe

OK, this is my very first post in Spudfiles...been lurking around about a month now. Got up, couldn't sleep around 5 AM this morning, checked in on the forum, a lo and behold, a wooden spudgun...

Man I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. The whole package from the box construction, to the door hinges and hasps, duct tape pvc adapter, hot glue glom-on and the pies de resistance, the need for a square O-ring and the square burn marks....continues to have me in tears...
Real Wile E Coyote stuff here...and an A+ for effort.

Heh heh...
I quit making improvised spudguns after the epic failure of my
JIFF Gun. Of course, that one had a fan and I was using metered propane injected through the cap. It was, of course, the cap that failed. Completely ruined the fan, which surprised me.
I've got to try something like this, sometime. Maybe, with copious amounts of polyurethane and marine GOOP, I can even get a small 2x wood hybrid working.
Anyways, good job. Way to think outside the box.
*Curses and kicks wall for accidental bad pun.*
EDIT: and after reading the second page...
For the seal on the back, to keep the good ol' homemade spirit, sand the mating surfaces smooth and use either inner-tube rubber or some supple leather for a gasket. Make sure it's tacked into place as well.

what the...
HELL... YES!
You sir, have brought a whole new level to ghetto launcher ingenuity. I am extremely proud to award you with this well-deserved <a href="

I really like what you have done here. This thing is hilarious. I like the warning labels so much that I might need to equip the Ghetto Trophy with similar things and shoot a new picture.
So how well is that 4x2" bushing attached? Is it just glued? I might be a little worried about that.
Keep up the good work. Happy spudding. And above all try to play safe.
