Its gonna have to have a kind of big power source for a good launch from four barrels.

A Bola gun might be a good intermediate step. Say four fishing weights attached by lengths of string and placed on some wadding would work pretty good.

You could probably easily just do the same with a circle of netting with weights on the outside, carefully inserted down the barrel. It should 'shotgun' out fairly well if you don't just wad it up and stuff it down the barrel in a tangled mess.

I have actually done this with a combustion with a 3/4 inch barrel. just attach a net to 4 marbles and stuff that thing in there(net first). I have actually cought a squir....nm.. but sometimes it wont spread out and it will just shoot the marbles in a straight line unless you shoot them in the air. BTW, i saw that episode and that was funny as hell.(just like the superbowl commercials )

I believe Myth Busters made a pneumatic net gun to catch pigeons for an experiment. It wasn't very fast but was alright. Used tennisballs and multiple barrels. Just see if you can find it on youtube or something. Hope this helps you

I've been toying with the idea for a few days now. I've been trying to figure out how to make a single barrel net gun, like the one seen on Rob and Big.

The problem is how to make the net spread out once fired. I currently don't have a gun at my apt, so I can't test anything. If someone could get some tests in and post a video I would very much appreciate it.
