job site compressors up to 140 psi,
a quality bike pump up to 160 psi,
a Max AKHL1050E PowerLite™ 400 PSI High Pressure Air Compressor(~$1600) up to 400 psi,:D

the greater the psi the farther the spud will go and a bigger bang. the pride and satisfaction pilgor will have when filling his monstrosity up by the good old fashioned way will also be immense. if he's not going to use a sprinkler valve, he shouldn't use a compressor. hard work will make an honest man.

Gee, around here your average homeowner compressor does 150 psi. And I, for one, would rather have a 150 psi compressor than a 160 psi bike pump, because 10 psi doesn't help a whole lot.

Of course you could always get a compressor tank and use a bike pump to fill it. It's a great workout, especially if the tank leaks (believe me, I've tried it )

With the default launcher in GGDT, adding 10 psi gives you and extra 50 ft/lbs of muzzle energy - that's an increase of 5 times the muzzle energy of your average "1000 fps" pellet guns.

JSR, while 50ft/lbs seems a lot to you, for me it means turning the regulator dial up another millimetre or so. Most of my guns could gain or lose 50ft/lbs depending on whether the sun was shining on them or not

So your saying he should get one of these and pump pvc up to 400psi just so the spud will go farther and there will be a bigger bang.
That is not just stupid it is just plain suicide.

That is true but at that bore size you wouldnt even notice it.
If you have 1000ftlbs do you think 50 would even be noticeable.
It might be a little louder because of more wasted energy but it wont go much faster.
