this is an pnuematic gun...only combustion guns require an ignition source..
however...if, by ignition, you meant how is the pressure in the chamber released, then that would be through the blowgun
Hybrids need an igniton source too.

Piston valves can be made in any size. Pressure rating depends on the material and quality of the construction.

POS wrote:Sorry for opening this old tread, but I have a question though. The barrel, I see that you have a metalic inner barrel? I can see treads at the thick part of it in the first pic. Do you use the metalic (I mean, the part with the metalic colour) piece as barrel, or as a ramming rod ?

What's is the caliber of the gun, and at what pressure do you use it ? What kind of ammo do you use ? Darts I suppose. Is it possible to show us a pic of the ammo ? (is it homemade ?)

I like the design very much.

(sorry for all the questions .. :? )
OK, the smaller metal rod in the barrel is the ramrod, it fits into the shorter peice of 1/2" copper underneath the barrel.

The caliber is .40, its a blowgun barrel, and I usually ran it at about 100-120 PSI.

I used a wide variety of ammunition for it, mostly light and fast stuff, like foil balls packed really hard (blew slug parts away several feet at point blank), but I also used darts.

The slugkiller logo was made in photoshop and laminated over the gun with packaging tape.

The plugged female... didnt have a tee at the time :P
