Last time I had any major burns was when I was playing with steam guns last summer. Steam burns are really, really painful. I did cut my thumb down to the bone with a hacksaw yesterday though. I haven't quite figured out how I did that yet...

Yeah, you should definitely tell your parents about it before they find out about it themselves. It's always better to be honest than to keep a secret. The truth will set you free.

not to sound sarcastic, but your story is a perfect example of why they have warnings on the can that say "Do NOT use around open flames", just make sure you read the can first, and next time, open a window...much safer...

Man you should drop what you are doing and head straight to the hospital. No kidding around here, this may be a very serious. I don't mean to scare you but it sounds like you got more than first degree burns. Broad coverage burns are a major infection problem...not today or tomorrow, but next week.

Soak in cool water and see a doctor, NOW...

Dude! Your trying to make me piss my pants? My mums a nurse so I am good for now. I have been cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide on the hour every hour. But a lot has healed just some blisters. I don't feel almost anything... Time to go clean it. brb.

No unfortunately I'm not fooling around here. Do not put Neosporin on your burns!!!! Carefully clean any off if you still have some on there. The fact that you have blisters is a sign of at least second degree burns and just because it isn't hurting now should not be a comfort to you.

Look, I've experienced broad coverage "moderate" burns before and they are serious...yes, hospital serious. Have you told your mother yet? If your mother is a real nurse she will understand the seriousness. Please don't delay treatment.

My general rule is if there's a chance of some serious infection, I get it attended to by a medical proffesional. Considering that your mom's a nurse, you have can get it attended to much easier than most people.

Why no neosporin? And why are they so bad? I have cut my finger bone deep before also.. I just bandaided it for 3 months.. Bam it was fine.. Its only blistering on one leg and its small blisters.. Like.. the area the size of.. 1" diameter.. What should I do about the blisters? And what happened when U got burned and how bad was yours?

lol last august, I was trying to make a homemade bomb out of capgun powder but it blew up because of the pressure i was exerting and the nail of my thumb was torn off and the nail of my second finger was purple. Not to mention that I was slightly deaf for a few days in one ear........

BTW how is your no-no zone?

The main question is, why are you scared of getting medical attention?
