9/32 brakeline is actually the best type of brake line for airsoft bbs.
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

1/4 holds a tighter tolerance than 9/32

Here is a little helpful list:


9/32 Brakeline 7.14mm
1/4" Brakeline - 6.35mm
Standard AS Barrel- 6.08 to 6.12 sometimes bigger
Tightbore Barrel - 6.04mm
DB TB Barrel- 6.01mm
Airsoft BB - 6mm

1/4" brake line won't work for airsoft bb's, it is way too small, but it will work for .177 bb's and pellets.
