Well I'm not particularly sure what is good or bad at this point, I'm just interested in trying to find out what it will take to get the fuel to combust.
For flybacks, this circuit is one of the worst. I suggest something 555 based, like http://uzzors2k.googlepages.com/flybacktransformer or the popular "Mazzili" driver. You'll find it on ww.4hv.org
