Yeah!!! that would be COOL all chrome!
That sounds kinda expencive. I think I'll paint it black. I was thinking of using something really strong like truck bed liner spray paint...They were using that stuff on that new show on tv Smach Lab. they found that stuff is strong. It can contain an explosion..I was just wondering if it could protect people from exploding PVC?? I was thinking of a scope but than I thought spud cannons are not really that accuerate so a laser would be good enough just to let me know wherein the general area the projectile will go. :salute:

congrats it is a really beautiful gun...
try to do something to get rid of those popoff valves - it can handle much more than 125psi
lasers are.... ekhm... very popular among people who have no idea how impractiacal they are.... this gun is shouting "I want to have a red dot sight"

This is the only valve thats 125psi. I think Im going to change it to 150 or 200psi The pop off valve for the triger is rated to 150 psi it might be a bit more because I altered it a little. I might even swap the pop off valve on the handel for a quick disconect for a air compressure?

replace them all... or leave the trigger as it is but make sure that there is nothing that stops yo from using 400 psi with it.. yo have a reallly nice gun but it deserves to be used at higher pressures

Pretty nice gun there, the valve lends a certain bling effect. :)

Yes...quite expensive for chrome.
Pretreat the metal, placed into chrome plating vat w/ warming solutions, and plating current being applied...

Rhino you mean?

If it can protect a cinder block building from a bomb...i'm sure it can contain a pvc explosion.

dude, that pop valve trigger is awesome. wish i would have thought of that.

Yeah..or a generic version..Its all the same chemicals, just less choice of color...Rhino comes in any color you can think of..I have seen some stuff at a local store called (fleet farm) they sell a genaric bed liner spray only in white or black . You can also buy the stuff at a auto supply store Im sure..
As for containing a PVC explosion Im not sure? In my mind I think it might work but the only way to find out is to blow up a piece of pvc...If it were up to me I would coat a sch 40 2" PVC tube lets say 12" long with bed liner paint ether spray or brush on and blow it up. To make it easy I would just cap off both ends and fill it with dry ice and warm water..seal it some how ..Then run like HELL !!! Thats just me!!!! DON'T TRY IT PLEASE!!!
Its not worth doing ...Just be safe to start with....[/b]

PVC i'm sure, the bomb had i believe over 3,000 pounds of pressure per square inch.

PVC would be much less

Im not sure if it would contain a pvc explosion but Im kinda sure it would reduce sharapnel. It might even give the pvc the ability to hold more psi. If it did, I don't thint it would be by much.

I really like the trigger setup, ergonomic and still using minimum deadspace with a better pilot flow that a blowgun.

If you can show me proof that the explosives used on Smash Lab are less effective in destroying Rhino than a pvc explosion...
Then..i'll be darned.

But currently i dont think pvc can

It cant hurt to try the stuff..(bed liner paint) It looks good on the gun and might protect you to boot... :salute:

I was just thinking..... Do you think I could use a smaller air chamber and still get good performence and damage . I don't think it needs all that air to propell a object out of a 24" barrel. I have tried a peice 1" pipe 12" long for the air chamber and it ,(I dont think) changed the performance....Then again Im not as advanced as most of the people on this site..I just though it might make the gun less bulky. With the 2" diamiter chamber that I used , after a shot I still had some air that came out after the projectile was expelled.. Im not a wiz kid with math, and equations and such, so I thought maybe one of you guys would know, if a smaller air chamber would be worth tinkering around with.. :salute:
