Yes, so it is. Just tighten tighten the bolt at the top in order to increase the amount of pressure there needs for it to release the air.

I would use a spring to move the piston not a finger, there might be too much pressure. This is exactly a design from ant(but then different

).

Thnx:) Thats my reason> simple guns which other ppl can make as well. As though I might change my goal to making a very fancy gun as I am noticing I am stalling in my development as I wanna keep the bugdet too low etc.

o well i dont really want to make the gun any more because some one said
that it will b a pea shooter
i live in Switzerland and Australia (two homes) an there s a gun store with bb guns across the road were i live in swiss and i dont want to go in there cos im under age and i cant speak french to well an if i get 1 i want to take it apart and see how they made it so compact and show all the new ppl on this site how they made it
and yes i gess u could make it unscruable

I don't think you should give up on your project.
I thought that your post was some kind of riddle, like a game and I didn't wan't to ruin it.
Like I wrote, it's just a matter of imagination. here's one like you want that's not a pea shooter :

You got replies from all the top guys on that stuff(w/ good designs) and now you're giving up?
That doesn't make sense.
I meant that it would be easier to start out with an easier design to gain experience.
You can't just read a cook book and expect to bake a nine layer whatever right away.
You have a good start and advice from the best at what you want to build.

yeah, dont give up too fast. You need to get some experience building, as on paper everything works:) Good luck eh. You could make a pea shooter but then with shells> where the peas are in. Then it should be able to work. And if you have a shop across the street, why not check it out?:) Good luck

yeah i did put 900 psi on superglue state thee name airhead noob
yeah the vavle can be un screwed also im kinda losing the idea because in australia the government here made it so ur allowed bows and arrows but the make bb guns more illegal then a .22cal gun and sling shots are way easier to make so im gona make a (Hunting) sling shot which i think is stronger then a bb gun ?

I think he is suggesting using a pop off "backwards", connecting air input into the vent holes, and putting the barrel in where it would normally connect to the compressor. I don't think a spring would be necessary in this case( at least on the pop offs i have seen)

I have the feeli^ng he is refering to a hamme tye valve where the barrel also acts as a trigger, i just looked at a gun by Antonio which uses this idea. Works, is a little ghetto style though and I do not like it too much becuase it is wiered to move your whole barreal around... but if you insist, go for it
