If that thing does work, I sure wouldn't want to be around it when it's fired up.

I'd go for cars actually. That would be possbile with a big enough black hole wouldn't it? Forgive me if I'm wrong, I've never studied anything like this.

Just got an idea: the best valve ever:
A quantum valve!
Its opened before you even hit the button.
Or its opened and closed at the same time but as long as you are not watching the gun it will not occur.
Just rambling out some thoughts

But it would have to be so small that not even an atom could pass through it, whether it was open or closed.
And the use of two colons in one sentence seems just a bit questionable...
