LOL DYI!! Um, I am not near any farms. I am in residential Seattle. Heck, I suppose I could mow laws, but my friend up the street already stole the job! Lets see... Where can I... My only worry is that people will rip me off. People around here seem to do that...

EDIT: I am only theorizing... I know my friend's parents don't pay much. It is difficult to know. Oh well, I can always ask. Got any other suggestions? You know, about telling them nicely to cough it up?

Whatever you do not take your movies to cd tradepost. I had 40 movies and 11 dvd box sets, and I got 80 bucks for stuff I paid probably 700 for brand new! I was p.O ed after that

Got a pressure washer or know anyone that does? Wash some driveways, houses, fences etc. Bleach is cheap...

LOL, so like .50 per square? Farms... Well, they aren't really any NEAR me. Lol. Well, lets see, closest one is about 100 miles away. I don't usually spend my money, so I just slowly obtain it over a while. I am actually not sure where it comes from. But, I needed a bunch in a short time, so I came here.

Hmmm well its been awhile, but I remember $50 for your average suburban driveway/patio combination. And $100 for a small house to be washed.

I never knew if I was being too cheap, but it wasn't a problem getting clients. .50/foot seems a little much... but give it a try, can't hurt

I just seen this post so...if you want to strip wire, don't. Just melt the insulation off. That's what I used to do.

50 cents per sq. foot sounds fair. Look in the local paper under services, anybody advertizing handy man work can probly give you a better idea. Prices for labor all ways very depending on where your at.

iver thought about that. going to every house and ask for a dollar. i figured by the end of the day you would have a couple hundred, but i never tried it.

It would definitely be worth the trip to a farm to ask for a job, even if the farm isn't necessarily close to you. I help out on a farm every once in a while and it is a very good job.

The only bad thing about working on a farm is that some of the work is hard (stacking hay and straw) and the barn is very hot in the summer. (when it is 90 degrees outside, it's around 110 degrees inside)

I'd say selling stuff on ebay is your best bet...

If you know how to fix electonics then you can buy them real cheap on ebay and fix em and resell them for almost market prices, make bout 200$ profit in a few days if you know how to fix mp3s or gamesystems.
