http://www.dreamhost.com/ is a good host... very cheap but very nice.

FTP is just a protocol to transfer files... It is best to get a program to do it rather than a web based ftp program.

A good FTP program is WSFTP lite or SMARTftp.

Incase you have a router you may have to unlock the following ports

7 (echo)
21(FTP)
80(http)

Unless you want to do SFTP in which case you can choose which protocol you want it to run with (typically port 22 which is SSH.)

How exactly were you testing the applet on your computer? Just opening up the .html file locally?

Yep, just need a way to make it visible to others on the internet.

Ive tried uploading the code to the internet but the program doesnt show cause there are some error that i dont know what they mean.

Haha thats the thing, I am not doing computer science nor IT. I am taking Aerospace Engineering> its like mechanical engineering but then focused on aircraft and spacecraft applications.
