It would be easy to create a similar barrel attachment (for airsoft) using a threaded end cap with a hole drilled through it.

If you use lamp pipe, a brass or aluminum tube fits inside it and the OD is 3/8" so the lamp pipe fits inside a "hollow rod" standard size in the hardware section of Home depot
(where the angle iron, solid rods and bar stock/ short all-thread rack)

The OD of that pipe fits 1/2" copper or drilled out brass "T" so a magazine can be attached easily as well.

With the "Thunderpup" I could shoot anything from spuds or full length arrows (same penetration as 60Lb. compound bow) other barrel can shoot airsoft or 1/4" BB or 3/8" BB or pistol crossbow bolts.
The chamber size is overkill a little but it's small volume anyway.

Airsofts cool in some ways and the store bought replicas are "neat", But the caliber thing is a matter of opinion IMO.

well if you are building the gun out of malleable iron fittings you can have interechangable barrels... the problem is that either the bigger barrel would be a little underpowered because of size of the valve or you would experience choking flow with the smaller barrel....

Lol your compressor sounds intresting... so it has 5 pipes altoghether ? I've heard that some fridges have more than one compressor.. possibly yours has two compressors in one casing ? if it has more than 3 cables then it is quite possible that it is so

BTW even if you did want to shoot G@y airsoft, you can shoot like way more from a larger bore right?

Uhmm..please note that i did say IMO
1. Airsoft gets your chest heaving and your heart beating
2. Is it not fun to kick ass w/ a BB shooting gun?
3. Its been stated before. You're not going to shoot somebody w/ a marble. And you were thinking about a bigger bore?

Yes shooting airsoft bb's from a larger bore is possible, but is probably prohibited on airsoft fields...
