I personally pay about $134USD for 18' of 3".

One of the main reasons we in the US love to make our big PVC guns...PVC (and ABS) materials are dirt cheap here and easy to work with, relatively speaking of course.

i have already built the first one so now i have to save money to buy pressure rated pipe to build a safe one.

BIG ditto there muffin. Spray, if you built this gun you've been showing us out of Cell Core, chop it up and start all over...don't shoot it again, just chop it up so no one else can use it.

i will keep it for looks only i disabled the ignitor so it won't fire i'll get pressure pipe very soon to make a good gun

Looks like you need to read the forum rules and also do a LOT more research on spudguns. First, use the edit button instead of double posting.
Then go onto the spudwiki and read every page that is relevant to you. Then go to the combustion showcase and look at a few cannons for design ideas and tips. Every how to guide I have ever seen stresses the importance of rated pipe, so I think you might wanna invest in some glasses too!

$10 for 10 feet is pretty good considering that i cant even get it around here.

Yes, the gray cable PVC will work for combustions. The fittings however aren't deep enough though to hold air safely...ie. no pneumatics unless you find pressure rated fittings.

He was asked to do this way early on...don't think it sunk in very much.

Just don't build a pneumatic with that cellcore or you could end up having a fat nurse picking it out of your (butt)!!

And if you want to talk $. I am looking at $180 for 10' of 4" clear.. now whos complaining

Clear pipe is way overpriced, but the demand for it is limited typically to the medical and food processing industry...where price is usually no object.

It did sink in but i only read the fittings part and also my dad has an 3 inch industrial pipe coupling that i may put over my cell core

Or....every bit of that PVC can be replaced for about $10 and re-assembled in about 30 minutes. Wouldn't that be a better option for you? [yes]
