it needs one (or two) on the chamber side. the chamber side should be the male part

it will be like so:
you fuel it and all the gas is in the back of the chamber, then you add air pushing all the fuel away from the spark plug.
Diffusion?

what do you mean by "diffusion"?

diffusion- http://members.aol.com/profchm/graham.html

Basically if you put the propane in then the air it moves it away from the ignition but the propane will diffuse and spread evenly throughout the chamber. Then it will ignite in the back, front, middle, wherever.

What pressure have you tested that sparkplug to? Because the current design is almost guaranteed to leak between the wire and its casing, unless there's something in the middle which prevents that.

How close do you plan on standing to that thing? 160 psi precharge should be fine (about 11x) as long as you go about it safely. That should still give you a safetly factor of almost 2.

DYI you noticed you said almost 2? then your hybrid would have been shreads

Havent tested the sparkplug yet but it will be filled with epoxy. Will that hold up to the 11x pressures you speak of?

Im not sure what X we will bring it to but it will most definalty be remote detonated 6-8x and over

DDT? :P

and look at the "brass bruiser" for the wire problem.

Not quite sure I follow here. You do realise that oxy/fuel mixes, for a given amount of fuel, only have slightly over half the power of air/fuel mixes, right? My 20x shots have all been oxy/fuel.

:P Haha sorry when i was typing that my dad was telling me how they make bombs and detonate them out of steel like this.

he had leaks through a wire and put some drops of super glue on the end and it was air tight. :)

Ok thanks

I dont have any super glue ATM but i think epoxy should hold correct?

I can get us superglue. lol for cheap. pressure rated to 1750 PSI
