if that bolt hits the nail in, what kind of veloity would it have if it were to hit a bb?
If the performance of my coin launcher was anything to go by, not much. Given the way the piston functions, you're better off with a much heavier projectile if you're going to use it like that. Done that.Consider buying a cheap nailgun off ebay and hacking it apart, they accomplish pilot emptying/refilling functions with a single valve.
