more details on these poppet valves plizzz

I removed one of them and attached a picture, one with the activating lever (struck originally by the eccentric cam) removed.

Kinda like my design...? Actually, I've been tossing around that kind of concept in my head for about a week

For the air cillinder, what pressure would it be able to have?

While that certainly got my attention (fuck!), I fear that delicious Eastern European accent would distract somewhat from proper pronunciation, I would recommend this as a proper cure for ADHD

What operating pressure do you expect? And whats the diameter/surface area?
Attach a QEV with a reservoir and lets rock

It could be used to propell a hollow arrow, or placed inside of a barrel.
That would be easy to make and might spark a new tradition.
It would save air compared to an ordinary pneumatic, and it should be a whole lot more silent.

I took it apart and attached a picture (the vernier caliper is open at 6 inches for scale) , I expect it can take at least 100 psi and with a 40mm bore, that's around 88Kg of force still, looking at heavy duty pneumatic nailers, they have pistons of much wider diameter and work in the same way a coaxial does, so perhaps the power of using this as a ram to actually fire stuff wouldn't be worthwhile. I think it would be more feasible to use it to knock open a large ball valve, hmmm...

That's exactly what I was thinking - for small bores at least, why bother with a piston valve? You could have a linear hammer driven by a motor (in the same manner as the piston on an airsoft electric gun is driven - one could even lift the mechanism from such a gun) that knocks the poppet open at regular intervals. As to reloading, you could either fit a blow-forward valve, or even better, you can have it powered by the motor too out of phase with the hammer, that way all the air from the poppet is used for firing the projectile...

Food for thought... though on the other hand, if I'm going to bother with an electric motor, I might as well make this - easier and less dead space
