Heck, even HEAL is indirectly based on that sawn-off.
Behemoth, the predecessor to HEAL was largely inspired by it, and HEAL was what would happen if you fitted a supercharger to Behemoth and gave it a bodywork upgrade.
How HEAL 2 will fit into that analogy, I don't know...
Sterling effort on the BB gun, Mitch - no doubt your results will be impressive.

I was hoping you would give the repeating QEV a go.
With the right pop-off you would get full auto pretty easy. ( I tried, filling chamber side works wonders)
And your love of big arse chambers would make it feasable.
Anyway, can we have some damage pics?
Wondering about penetration into wood.

The HEAL 2 plans are mostly done - I'll be trying for full auto, although I've got a slightly different way of doing it instead of a pop-off valve.
And yes, there will be damage pics.

I posted a reply on uksgc.
I hope that you were thinking what I was thinking.
Sorry about the hijack guys.
Mitchza, you could get it more sturdy, yet compact if you would go for a coax.
Cane gun in essence.

Pizlo - Haha I reckon so too. Some nice hardened steel darts would do the trick me thinks
Magnum - Nah no chrony tests yet mate. I'll get mysef a couple of computer mics and do it that way.
Poland - I'm stoked that my mate and myself managed to find a fridge compressor that works... The fridge was dumped behind the train station in the rougher suburbs next to mine. My mate kicked out the compressor... He said he put a rather large dint in it so I just thought "F*&K.. goodbye any working chances of it working"...BUT IT DOES!

. He's having a bit of trouble trying to connect the very small diameter output hose to any fitting that we can buy....but he'll figure it out. He won't let me have any input on this untill he gives up

.
BTB - Cmon mate you know that you're original sawn-off was one of the main guns that got me into piston's haha. I actually wasn't thinking of your gun at all when I was building this. I'm just that used to building in that "copied sawn off" design, that I just do it without thinking. I've always been a fan of metal and because of you, the curled over ball valve trigger - It's so bloody comfortable, makes for almost no pilot volume, air tight, fast as hell actuator and not to mention it was very cheap and easy to get the way I want
My last few metal guns have been a Coax (the whammy gun variants). I thought I'd make a tee valve for something different, and so I can wack on a bolt action/sliding breach to save having to get a meter long piece of wire and have to muzzle load every shot. At the moment I'm planning a supressor that runs the length of the barrel aswell as to protect it, but also have a breach loading mechanism in there.
...Damn that's alot of bullsh#t to read.. Sorry boys

I hope I answered everyones questions.
Mitch.

Haha thank you mate. The handle is just a 1/2'' long galvanised bend. Very common fitting

love that gun but doesnt it get annoying to have to keep pumping that up? I guess it is a good work out but my arms would feel like jello if i kept pumping that up. how many times do you usually shoot it?

When my mates are over, usually 50 or so times in a night. Ya arm's don't at all get tired with my pump because of it's low volume. It's even a breeze to pump at high pressures of 300+psi
