I'd never shoot at my compressor.. it seems to be kinda dangerous.. and a waste and stuff.. allthough i did accedentally desroy my door with a bb shotgun blast... or 3.. ..
Also, slick little gun... would be pretty fun to shoot paper dart out of it in a ninja blitzkrieg gurillia assault at school.

Lovely lil pengun youve made. The ultimate in classroom warfare
P.S. I hope your happy JSR. Youve gone and created a fad in spudding

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being VERY diffucult) how hard would a build like this be? Also would I be able to find the tubing at a local hardware store? I am very interested in making one of these. I LOVE classroom warfare. It just sucks when your teacher takes it away. Lmao What do you use as a sealing face on your piston?
EDIT: If I made one, would I be able to make it servicable?

Compared to most spudguns, I would say this is a very easy build, and suitable materials aren't hard to come by - try a hobby store (that sells R/C models etc.) for the tubing though. There's a how-to for my original pengun that can be found
here
I LOVE classroom warfare.
At the pressures we're using, the power of these little creations precludes their use against live targets, careful.

You might have to make it a little
bigger
having said that, my pen gun is still in regular service and never needed any maintenance.

Hmm...soo would I just have to see what type of Alluminum barrel fits between the barrel and the chamber? or is there a specific size of which i should but. Also, I noticed that you used a BB as the sealing face, In front of the piston there is a peice of rubber, what would that happen to be? And you mentioned in your topic JSR that you repaired your leak in the gun. I thought that if i made this, that it wouldnt be sevicable?

Usually stores provide tubes in sizes that fit into eachother, while you're at the store see what fits and what doesn't. There's no specific size, remember the larger diameter the barrel, the more power potential you'll have.
The rubber was cut from a section of bicycle inner tube and epoxied in place
The leak I mentioned was from the forward join, so it was repaired externally. Once everything is sealed in place, unless you've included threaded sections of some description, you're going to have to break it apart to service it internally.

I like it and i want one, but i got other things to finish first.
So wait, is this how the classroom routine goes.
*Splattt* (spit ball hits you)
*Pulls out shock pump and pen* *pump, pump, pump*
(bb loaded)
*Shhhh* (piloted air)
Ahh my face!!!!
lol
So how how do you pull out the shock pump, without getting caught??

A few ideas:
-Pre-load it before you enter the classroom. Needs perfect sealing and is one-shot though.
-12gram CO2, Pressure limited to 800PSI
-Pen-pump.

Hmm, that would be very interesting if someone was to build a pump the size of a pen (jsr here's your next project). It might not be as powerful as a standard shockpump but it would be less noticable.

well im not using this for an assault or anything so no need for a pump so small

Get one of those really small bike pumps and keep it in the side of your backpack. At my school people always carry around their backpacks into their classes. So just inconspicuosly reach into your backpack and connect the schrader... then pump slowly until you're done. Disconnect, load and fire!
I also really like the idea of a pen pump (or possibly marker) ... it would be small and it would keep you from going to pressures that would hurt too bad for classroom warfare.

I might make one to fit snuggly in a jumbo pen I have

Servicable. Although Ill have to find a stealth pump for
using this for an assault or anything
*Insert evil laugh here*
