That's kind of reminiscent of the AUG. Kind of like this is what I'm going for. I'm still in the planning stages here. I'm going to look at what parts I need and where I can put them. That'll dictate what it looks like.

thats a nice looking rifle but i prefer the elite's looks (or the scout hunting rifle is similar)

Right now I have a Spyder TL-R that has been unused for quite some time. It's been replaced by my A-5. Dogleg air-thru stock from specialops, response trigger, remote air, Stiffi 18" barrel.

Nelson based pumps are fairly simple and reliable. If it were me, I'd go to a local Wal - Mart and buy a Ghost Talon. These pumps are Nelson and are easy to hack, not to mention, cheap.

That also looks like it'd be easy to modify and make work like a bolt-action.

It should be. The whole thing is fairly small and there is only one moving part. It's easy to work on, too.
Brass Eagle also makes a paintball marker (sold at Wal - Mart) that holds two twelve grams at a time. I'm not sure whether the pump is based off a Nelson or Sheridan, but it's probably a Nelson. I forget the name of them, but it should be easy to find, and it's cheaper than the Talon.

The only parts I'm going to use from the gun itself is probably the internals. I'm going to make my own system for holding the 12 grams, I've got good ideas for that.

You can make your own tank and mount it inside the stock.
Fill it through a regular bottle.

or maybe a Phantom
A Talon is the same type valve, but about $150 cheaper.

I'm totally not buying a 200 dollar gun just to tear it apart the next day. I'm going to be modifying everything so heavily it won't matter what I started with.

Almost certainly. You can get tiny little things of a couple of ounces - maybe a bit over an inch in diameter and 4 or 5 inches long - for mini soldering blowtorches.
That could shoot a great many paintballs - but it's probably worth talking to your local field to find out their views on it first.

Well those I'd probably have to screw in, the great thing about 12 grams is you just plug and play, so to speak.
