Just an observation...sched 80 3/4" has a fairly mondo pressure rating of 690 psi. Were you looking for the pressure capacity of sched 120 or going use the unique ID in some way?

3/4" sch 80 works fine IMO, less sagging and fits paint balls great without breaking them.

Both. :twisted: But mainly for the ID, which is .69". Good paintballs have a diameter of .689". The closer the fit, the higher the accuracy and efficiency. I could have went with 1/2" sdr 21 at .696", but I wanted the best, and the wall thickness doesn't help with o-rings. The rating of sch 120 3/4 is 770 psi, close to the pressure of Co2.

So, I need to achive 300 fps and a fast RoF. I am debating between low pressure high volume, or high pressure low volume. Low pressure is more efficient, less total air is lost to pilot. High pressure is what most markers use, so that they can use valves with low air flow.

EDIT: Thanks Clide, that link was exactly what I wanted to see. You just justified my $ 15!

For identical amount of air, high pressure/low volume out-performs high volume/low pressure everytime.
