My piston didnt break, my sealing face just got ripped off. So now I have bolted it on. That should be more permanent

Nice build, and man, I feel your pain with the sealing face detaching... With my mini coaxial, I went through about 5 or so sealing faces before I found a way to make one that simply couldn't come off. Sooooo frustrating waiting nearly a day for the epoxy to cure, only for it to fail after five shots.

Wait just one minute! HOW could the sealing face possibly hit you in the head?????? The face can't get behind the piston and go out through the pilot, so it either stays in the gun, or flys out the barrel when it detaches... surely you didn't look down the barrel... and fire it..

Seems like sealing faces are a problem with everyone, not just me, what a relief. And I dont think it will come off now, because I did Bolt-Nut-Sealing face-Nut-Piston.

You should also add a small washer.

I dont know if youve seen others but just throw a big washer on it and you will be fine. Try to get a washer that fits just about perfect inside your barrel. Maybe about a cm or two between the washer and your barrel so it cant suck anything in.

Not me! I have not had one problem with sealing faces over five cannons! hehehe
Good luck with finding the perfect one mate.

Already have. The piston is completely done. I have Bolt-Nut-Sealing Face-Nut-Piston, and I even tried pulling it off, and it still wouldnt come off, so its good now, and I will add a little epoxy just to stregnthen it a little.

You cant right now, I PMd PCGUY, and he hopfully will fix it, I just uploaded it from picoodle.com, and uploaded it as a thumbnail. But you will have to wait to use the spudfiles preview uploader.

I have just got a new cap for it today, And Instead of black, it is Bombay Mohogany. It looks real nice. And instead of glueing it, I bolted it on, with some caulk on the joint between the end of the cap, and the pipe, so I will stop leaks, and Can be easily removed.
