I would suggest combustion, via the old "Spray n Pray". like the one in the picture you have.
Good for begginer spudders yet to understand some of the spudding characteristics. If you need any help, check out the spud wiki or pm me.
Btw, welcome to spudfiles.

Not exactly, it's not invisible to X-rays, the problem is that it's similar in X-ray opacity to soft tissue, which means it's hard to find when embedded in flesh.
(Actually, if it were invisible to X-rays, it would be easier to find - just look for the voids - e.g. like you can see air bubbles in water.)
It's like me wearing camouflage, then lurking in some shrubbery - it's not me becoming impossible to see, but hard to make out from the background.
If I went and stood in front of a brick wall wearing camo, I'd be bleeding obvious. Put a piece of PVC through an X-ray machine on it's own, you'd spot it - same thing.
Mind you, the difference won't be very comforting if it's you the surgeons are extracting it from.
However, that said, it's usually quite obvious where sharp pointy things need to be pulled out, because there are typically holes where they went in.

Try not to double post. It will get people annoyed and hating on you.
Here's what happens when you put gunpowder in plastic pipe designed for carrying water!
Don't do stupid, idiotic things like that. It makes "parents against everything" groups get upset and try to boycott our hobby. Every incident moves it closer to a ban.
If you have creativity, then a spray and pay shouldn't be hard...think reducer, clean-out cap and different diameter pipes... And a replacement BBQ sparker.
Good luck

After nearly 4 months and with something to add (which would warrant it's bumping), I believe he is justified in doing so, given even the harshest of forums will generally give you leeway on it after 48 hours.
Double posting after 4 minutes - sure, strop at them. 4 hours - yeah, tell them to edit. But 4 months is a definite case for a justified double post.

I'm looking froward to experimenting with these goodies to see how far I can get a spud (Under safety, I've had a lot of experience with all of the above).
Uh... Yeah...
You claim such experience and proficiency but then you mention using them in a spud gun? And heck, you even need to ask for blueprints for a fracking spud gun?
My BSometer just pegged.
And for what it's worth: If you're trying to puff your chest out, nobody in the industry calls it "gunpowder." It's called nitrocellulose.

Not even mentioning the super-mutant-spuds which can withstand a TNT blast.
I believe that a bit well made "gunpowder" is more then enough to disintegrate a spud.

Ne'er a truer word spoken, but it will do for a first effort

now that you've discovered the joys of throwing stuff fast, make yourself a pneumatic and do it properly

Ummm burke?... You started this adventure roughly a year ago and you still basically butt-spliced your handle to your chamber/barrel with electrical tape and what...hot glue??? You could have at least shortened the spark leads and somehow pinned them up out of the way of your hand/arm....it's presently a shock hazard.
What are you capping the rear with? Please tell me it's more than just electrical tape.

well.... looks like I just got owned....
well yea it looks like it was done by a 5 year old.... or younger.... but in the past year I haven't been home much due to school in sydney.... however from now on I will lift my game....
oh and first of all it's silicon not hot glue and it's a proper plastic cap. the reason why there is so much tape is because I was taping to hide a little bit but I didn't have much left so I decided to use the rest of the roll....

No I wasn't trying to "own" you. Bottom line...this cannon doesn't look very safe to shoot...maybe I should have stated that more directly.
A little game lifting is certainly in order here.
