Psycix is right. Although they are more available than most people think, they aren't setting neatly in the plumbing section at Lowe's waiting for you to walk by and pick up.

Also, I wouldn't push the plastic models past say a 2.5X hybrid and the metal ones past 4X.

However, folks are missing the opportunity here to install a burst disk on 1x combustions. I'm not sure why this concept hasn't take off more than it has. It's a beautiful and easy hop up.

I just want to make a mortar and i will dont put more then 8 foils(80 psi)

Will the levers crush the aluminiums foils?

The levers won't actually touch the disk, they grip onto the rim of the male connector.

So how the burst disk will hold in place? :dontknow:

the levers clamp the front face of the male part to a face inside the female part, but onyl touching the rim at the side of the male part. The disk is held sandwiched between these two faces - there's a rubber washer on the female face, meaning there is some "give" to allow for the thickness of the disk.

I think the end of the male adapter contacts a lip in the inside of the female adapter. The disk is pinned in between.

Wow, that sounded kinda weird.

I just camed back of the Rona shop and buyed evrything to make my burst disk mortar exept the femal part of the camlock, the one with the levers.

And never buy a camlock with aluminum levers, but the one with copper-brass ones, it will be a lot easier to lock your camlock.

I Breaked a new record:
