I thought about an idea for a homemade lathe attachment for a bench grinder. It's pretty much just threading the chuck onto the bench grinder and...

I'm almost done with my lathe! So far, it's costed $0. It's also extremely simple, but will (hopefully) work very well. The main component: a bench...

I use my pillar drill, its almost like it was made for the job..Just turn it on its side and its ready to roll, adjustable speed aswell. :D

Lately Ive wanted to try pen turning and making a QDV. I looked at mini lathes but the cheapest decent lathe Ive seen is $166 and thats a bit more...
