I wouldn't be worried about "dieseling" when adding air, i only ever used my bbq ignitor up to 9x mixes so i can not say for sure about 25x, the gap i used at 9x was around .75mm, so at 18x the gap would be .375mm, pretty hard to measure.
I would try if i were you to make a pump that would get you up to pressure with one measured stroke, no need for a guage then.

It won't be an easy task but i think it could be done wth a lot of patience, good luck Jean.

Wait a moment... If it's one stroke per BAR, then that means one stroke for 2x, and two strokes for 3x... not 4x. Remember, the chamber starts with a 1x mix, and supposing each stroke gives the 14.somthing psi needed, (or one bar), then its just number of strokes + 1 = mix.

hi
i mean per stroke 2 bar (29 psi).
pump volume double than the chamber.
i see in the chamber is no fuel bevor the first stroke! but i don´t know it is a problem

How are you planning on fueling it jean. It sounds as though you are mixing the fuel with air before pumping the chamber to pressure with said pre-mixed fuel-air. Sounds like a good idea to me if that is the case.

hi

yes
first i will use a syringe instead of a pump to test all (seal, combustion, piston work, inigtion.....)
after i will build an fuel sytem like the "firestorm omega" visualised in Theories/Accessories Database ( http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/firesto ... 14507.html ) conformed to hybrid.

1. mixing the fuel in pump
2. pump in chamber to xbar
3. inigtion

mh but i dont know how essential it is to vent the chamber after every shot!?
i hope it is not so important at 5x, 10x or 20x.....

today i change the solder fitting to pump (pump id now 20mm) and attach the barrel ( 5mm id brass tube).
its not so easy as i wish.... drill out a 1/8 plug but a little out of square
next day i will a secend try.
yesterday i order ptfe material for piston and checkvalve. i hope thats the right material to use in this place.

irgentwelche deutschen user hier die mir beim übersetzen helfen können?

I don't thinking venting will be much of a problem, you may have to adjust the fuel mixture a little bit to make it leaner after the first shot.

I have always wanted to make a hybrid plinker too! In NZ fittings cost MUCH MUCH more. I was thinking of using 0.8mm tubing (steel I think) from the hobby store and welding some how... Copper would be so much easier...
