Flight is boring, as you are limited to a single operation: flying around in circles endlessly. Land based vehicles do not have this limitation.
I think flying in circles is an extreme understatement.

id suggest an e sky lama v3 i have one and the price is un belevable
http://www.raidentech.com/ese0lav3coco.html
but if this is youre first helecopter ever then get one of these they are simpler to fly and have all controls of the lama except rool

stick with co axle 4channle RTF beacuse with single rotor designes you will need to balance in the air its like taking a broom handle and balancing it on youre hand. also dont just fly rc helies beacuse they break allot no matter how durable they are eventually you will need to get parts to fix em up. and lastly here is a site to help you out.

Go to youtube and search 'RC airplane' and 'rockets'.
This is why aircraft are better. That, and if you tip the CA3 back and shoot it straight up, you have instant puffy-ack.

You forgot making things that were intended to fly incapable of doing so......

Most fun thing you can do with that involves bottle rockets and tiny radio transmitters.
Actually, find a large, cheap R/C plane. They tend to be capable of carrying larger.... payloads..... And by payloads I mean water balloons. And more rockets. And cameras. And various electronic gear....... Damn, I made myself want an airplane.

I've had four. Broke three. The fourth one hasn't flown yet. I'm saving it for when I have a new airburst cannon.

its a good chopper, but a helicopter is NOT the pace to start. i build an fly RC airplanes and let me tell you, it is not easy to simply fly a plane. it took me at least 6 months of flying (almost) every day to truly feel confident if everything i was doing.
i recommend a GWS Slowstick or the parkzone Slow V, which is based on the slow stick. they are very controllable and will basicly fly themselves.
i recommend this set up-
GWS with 370 or 400 motor
Futaba 4ch radio
any two micro servos
ICS 480 15 amp ESC
a 1500-2000 mHa nickle metal hydride battery (NIMH)
a charger of some sort
you cant go wrong with that set up and you can use the electronics latter on with other planes. this is how i learned to fly and i guarantee its the best way to learn.
the slow V is based on the slow stick, but it RTF (ready to fly) out of the box. its a good deal and a good plane, but like i said, if you buy a futaba radio (or any radio) you can use it on other planes.
again, you will NOT learn to fly off a helicopter, regardless of what the description says.

i willing to try
and there no place to fly a plane here unless i get skilled enough to throw it for take off and catch it for landing

i wont buy a plane unless i can do that

i learned to fly a heli on a blade cp a while back. now im addicted
Im sorry spudblaster but i will always disagree. I find fun in the challenge of flying a heli, which a car lacks challenge.
