It is called a green sand mold and i have never had trouble with air bubles and impurities are nearly impossible after all i use high quality bike aluminium. If it is good on bikes it will be good on a gun, i can make the wall .5cm thick or 10cm thick i can make nearly any part, so casting at home is really great.

Aluminum's strength is highly dependent upon heat treatment processes. As such, the very same metal that gives you a high strength bike could give you a pathetically weak gun.

In other words, it's not enough to be able to cast aluminum. You must also be able to heat treat it.

Do you have that knowledge?

I have the basic knolage yes but it depends on the specific alloy i use. I cannot really say i have the knolage for every alloy, mostly because i dont, but i am a fast learner and after maybe and hour or two and some practice i will be able to heat treat what ever alloy i end up choosing.
