That's sad, although understandable, there's a huge difference between the capabilities of the brain to come up with something and the capabilities of a couple of old hacksaws and a wonky Dremel to fabricate it.

Keep it in the back of your mind though, let it pop to the surface every now and then, and eventually it might just get simpler and simpler and more and more buildable.

I could manufacture it with the materials I have, but I'd rather wait until I have some telescoping tubes to work with. The reason being that the barrel support (central) is pressurized and the rotation and location of the barrels determines the open/close. This idea revolves around having a pressurized main tube with porting, and a telescoping tube that rotates around it.

It could be emulated with any kind of stock material, though cleanness and performance would be sacrificed.
