Ok thank you, another dumb question of mine: What would you use as a spacer?

wood, plastic, metal... rubber...
basically a disc that seals or can be sealed against the outside of the inner barrel and inside of the outer barrel to stop epoxy leakage.

ok, ill do it as soon as i get home. And one last question:
If i filled the outer barrel with some kind of foam, would this give me an even better result?

i think that would be hard as the gap would be too small.

filling the space with steel wool might also work to make it like a suppressor. but wooden baffles would probably be easiest if you half the right tools
