I prefer not to use pipe cutters - I used to, but it crushes the end of the pipe in and takes a lot of work to clean up properly. You get much better results with less effort by using a hacksaw neatly. Getting a straight cut isn't hard - slide a slip coupling to the appropriate place on the pipe, use the edge of it to mark a line the whole way around with sharpie, cut to that line, clean off the sharpie.starman wrote:Yeah I know, pretty smart A answer.
