Not too mention 1 percent of the board members on here have kids older than the other 99% on the board... I feel old... :?

What possessed you to NOT mount a bbmg powered by LPG or regged CO2 on this?
Throw on some rc tank treads and you've got an unstoppable airsoft deathbot.

First thats what i was gonna say and second if you used your own vortex gun you could get a lot more shots per load. But over all it's preety awsome

Nicely done. Now link up a camera for target recognition :D
Or just built it onto some RC vehicle, like a tank or a boat.

OK, so we spent a about another hour working on the turret today which brings total build time up to about 6 hours. We got the firing mechanism worked out and we now have semi and full auto capabilities. The gun we used was the CYMA glock AEP for those that care to know. We can easily take out cans at 20 feet which is around the distance in the video. Full auto is awesome!!! And just remember folks this is just a cobble job. We have officially dubbed this version 0.5. Version 1.0 will include guitar wire instead of strings for the control linkages, long legs for stability and, a laser and camera for sighting. Again sorry about the bad camera quality. Better videos are also in the plans for the future.

BTW we did not have to buy any thing for this build to this point. All parts are previously owned and/or scraps.

Wonderful. Once again I am in awe. For only 6 hours of work and a small budget you guys have really stepped into another realm. I only ask that you continue with this project. dont dump it in the trash because you're tired of it. Pretty soon you will be making serious mula designing these...

That's definitely cool. A real good jump start to the spudding/air soft community. You get the Brog Seal of Approval.

Hey Brog <,< hopefully your not assuming that Imortal87 is "noob" at this LOL 'cause I think he works with davidvaini, correct me if I'm wrong lol.

Hey man this is cool!.... if you have those airsoft wars maybe you should link the circuit to aluminium foil or something (oops my bad aluminium is bad at conducting electricity) so airsofters can shoot the thing down and destroy it's temporary circuit :D.

We were thinking of some thing like that actually. Our version was more of a solid plate on the end of a stick that would fall onto a switch and shut it off, but good thinking about the foil, I might have to try some thing like that. At least were on the same wave length. And Dave cleared up the "Jump Start" thing for me. Brog just meant that there havent been many posts in the airsoft/spudding communinity lately and this was a good post to get things rolling again(or something to that effect).

Oh that's cool that's cool.

What's a better material than foil though because what I can remember foil is a pretty bad to use in circuits... so that would mean the actual circuit would be very weak, but who knows... it might work :D.
