Oh sorry, no I meant, the camera doesn't have a wide angle. Oh and btw, here is a pic of penetration at 250 psi...I just took it, my ears are still ringing :D , now, each four box was placed one behind another, combining 8mm of wood. I also shot through the sides, they are 1/4" thick each, and the .25 gram BB went through two. To compare, a steel BB at 12 bars goes through three....I'll have the photo as soon as my camera is charged up!

Really nice build.

Have you considered to mod your blow gun a little bit?

The exit holes in the blow gun and the release valve are pretty tiny.
I drilled them larger at mine and gained a noticeable boost in performance.

Like the hose barb; I use them as well.

Well, for the moment, even at 17 bars, the "pressing" and the shot are almost simultaneous. I do not even have to press all the way it actuates pretty well.
Thanks for the comments guys! ;) it'd been a long time since i had built something i could be proud of ^^ :D

That slow mo footage was great. It looked weird watching the ball "wobble towards that tree.

Looks like a sturdy barrel as well.
Keep up the good work.

Aye Aye Cptn! :D I absolutely love the simplicity and sturdiness of this gun. Reminds me of my days with the "Mitcho's Musket"

Awesome damage vids too!

Dude great video I love the slow mo parts and the music also. Just an all together great video. Also I like your gun looks very simple, and straight to the point really cool.

Thanks a lot!!

I didn't want something overkill , just wanted it simple , high power plinker. I've done some more tests, with 1mm steel shot. You know those demineralized water jugs (5 Liters) well, at 250 psi, 3 out of four go through.
An airsoft BB goes through everytime.
I'll try to take a video of a supersonic shot, but it isn't everytime....sometimes it does it, sometimes it just won't. I think this gun will be the base for some upgrades, wooden stock, scope, green laser etc etc.... ;)

What is your piston?

by CpTn_lAw
The piston is hot glue with neoprene seal on top, and a screw to hold it there

Sweet, my valve with have very little pilot volume and a light piston, it will be interesting to see the difference

well, i have a very small pilot volume too...but the piston is pretty heavy, i guess yours will do better than mine ;) but no worry, i'll be glad to see your gun when it's finished :D
