Can you even get 1/4 size ballistics balls, even if you can im sure they wont be too cheap. Especially if you will be running around a paddock shooting them its quite possible you will lose alot of them.

I agree if your shooting at 800 fps, why would you shoot at anyone. Thats like saying you are going to go play airsoft with a gun, but at 1200 meters away . Just a question, why dont you just use a normal airsoft gun?

I have a stock Jg bar-10 that can shoot that easily. I think a crude high powered gun is pushing it. Notice how googles are made for airsoft, they should say," not rated for 800 fps pneumatic death dealers".

Drop the velocity. Can I shoot you with my gun? Hell, at lower pressures that goes 800 feet per second, and I know it's still going to bloody hurt from 200 feet (lethal.).

You should make nail darts for added fun while your at it. Then try filling a soda bottle to 800 psi with liquid unregged c02.

hmmm but still how will the velocity be when the ball has traveled 200m? not 800fps if it will still be lethal power i will drop velocity i still have my mind on ballistics balls


i do make darts shot so far into a tree cant get it out and it can do through 5 soda cans laying down through the hard metal on it (top and bottom) lined up in about a fraction of a second

Are your friends like this as well? What do they think about it?

Why don't you use a ballistic calculator to test that? I'm going to have to say one of your friends will end up in hospital. Just use a conventional ammo MEANT for shooting (airsoft, PB, nerf) at people at a velocity it's MEANT to be shot at.

I would be amazed if it did it in several seconds.. I would expect less than a second going through 5 soda cans.

Well, it depends on what ammo your using. Even in airsoft, the highest acceptable FPS is normally 500 for a single shot gun, and they have a minimum engagement distance.
