3" compound rounds made it clean through from 15 yards. UHMW compound round video shoot set for tomorrow.

That's some pretty serious penetration for a round that large.

We tested the 630 today at 100 yards and clocked our 440 gram 3" UHMW rounds at 460fps. Although considerably slower than baseballs, we were pleasantly surprised to find only a 36" drop at 100 yards. Target was a 3' x 3' van door and the rounds carried enough energy for good penetration.

Adrenalin rush.. absolutely. I've been a gun guy my whole life and this is something completely different... like deer slugs on steroids.

The rounds are actually 1/2 caliber CG/CP and based on the same equation as our others.

I love the fact that it's travelling relatively slowly but still arrives on target with enough energy to punch through not to mention the delay between shot and impact.

Also kudos for the firing setup, but since not everyone has a forklift and you've got it to the size where it becomes awkward to aim, wouldn't it be a better isea to provide some sort of bipod attachment?

you'd have to switch from PVC to metal to do so but that could result in a more compact gun

Thats an awesome video! Cool gun and massive for sure. I had a fun thought. Hearing that round wizz in the air made me think it might be fun to make a round with some whistle slots or grooves cut into it so that it whistles loud when fired.

I hear you on the set up... rear control, bi pod or Hum Vee mount is a must. This is a low cost, proof of concept more than anything.
