Ragnarok makes a point! If you were to build a pneumatic launcher, you wouldn't use the air that is vented by the pilot valve, you would simply try to get its volume to a minimum to avoid a big air loss. In your hybrid model valve, it's like you try to over-complicate things just for a minimal gain.



Ragnarok a raison, si tu faisais un canon a air comprimé, tu chercherais pas à utiliser l'air qui est ejecté par ta valve d'activation, tu voudrais juste que le volume d'air qui sorte soit minimal comparé a celui gardé pour le projectile. Et bien la j'ai l'impression que tu te compliques trop la vie, juste pour un gain minimal.

finaly its maeby better with a pop-off, la nuit me portera conseil car je vais me coucher!

thank you for the french help, i just would like to know what systeme use the cobra, or larda, do you know ? burst disk or piston

if piston what about ? how is work ?

No poppoff is necessary. If you have an appropriated compression ratio, the air will act as a bumper. If not, good luck stopping a large metal slug without damaging anything. I know my contest entry sucked, but I will link to it anyway
