If you were to build a pneumatic launcher, you wouldn't use the air that is vented by the pilot valve, you would simply try to get its volume to a minimum to avoid a big air loss. In your hybrid model valve, it's like you try to over-complicate things just for a minimal gain.



Ragnarok a raison, si tu faisais un canon a air comprimé, tu chercherais pas à utiliser l'air qui est ejecté par ta valve d'activation, tu voudrais juste que le volume d'air qui sorte soit minimal comparé a celui gardé pour le projectile. Et bien la j'ai l'impression que tu te compliques trop la vie, juste pour un gain minimal.

No poppoff is necessary. If you have an appropriated compression ratio, the air will act as a bumper. If not, good luck stopping a large metal slug without damaging anything. I know my contest entry sucked, but I will link to it anyway
