But serious, I do pretty much all my work with a vice, hacksaw, drill (which clamped in the vice is an improvised lathe), hammer, pliers and a set of files.
This is one of the advantages of casting as opposed to having to machine tough materials.

They are at the root of nearly everything in our modern day material world, that's pretty useful.

for making launchers? drill press. For any other wood work, bandsaw.

A dull knife....

Not my favorite, but useful. Sharp enough t cut, yet dull enough so the edge doesn't break when you use it for other things (prying,screws, etc)

Most productive tools: Paper, pencil, eraser, calculator, computer.
Tools used most in fabrication: Angle grinder, TIG welder, Drill press.
