Downhill skiing consumes almost every waking hour for me in a "regular" winter, and I've been entirely cut off this year. There's been so little to do outside that my marks in school jumped by about 15%

Here's hoping for about four feet in the next month :D
where do you live?!?! every state but hawaii in the us has seen snow
I think he lives in the UK...
DYI lives in his secret lair in maple leaf land. And DYI, you need to start slacking some more, 15% increase is unacceptable. :D

What you gotta do is trade your camery and maybe throw in some extra money and buy a brand spanking new Ford F-250 super duty 4x4, jack it up about 9 inches, put some 35'' all terrains on it, then put a roll bar on the back with those cool KC lights, a winch on the front and mount a Hi-jack on the heavy duty bumper that you install, then add a brush guard and then come back and tell me of you have problems going up those snowy hills...

I also live in sunny CA. it rained pretty good a few weeks ago and that was perfect opportunity to take my 1963 f-100 out to discover the right hub doesn't lock. its almost 50 years old, so i can't really complain. Its a cheap fix.

I wish it snowed here, the last time it snowed here was several decades ago and the snow melted before it touched the ground.

I live in the Southern US and this year I've seen sleet and snow for the first time in a very long time.

It sucks since most people can't drive in dry weather, anyways, much less ice and sleet.
